Live Action vs Animation. Which is the right route for you?

Live action suits personal, emotional stories where you want to see and hear the real person. Animation works better when you want to stay anonymous, tell a sensitive story, or visualise a product or brand that does not exist yet. For quick turnarounds, events or social content, live action is usually the faster route.

Likewise you may not actually have something to show. Your product/story/brand may not exist yet, so you need Motion Design or animation to visualise this? Events and Social Content = Live Action will be the best solution. These are people focussed briefs which should be the focus. Also if it’s quick turnaround, Live Action usually is the best solution here. Although there are ways animation can be done quickly, it generally is less responsive and take a bit more time to produce.
