The Challenge
Solomon's product is genuinely technical: bespoke engineering, custom-built to spec, vehicle by vehicle. The challenge wasn't showing that off, it was translating it. Their buyers aren't engineers; they're procurement and operations leads across food distribution, healthcare, and pharmaceutical logistics who need to understand, at a glance, that this is a manufacturer capable of building at scale, with precision, for regulated and time-critical cargo.
MightyGiant was brought in to turn Solomon's engineering credibility into something immediately legible. A piece that could sit on their website and at industry events and do the explaining for them, without a technical briefing attached.

We started where Solomon's own sales conversations start: with the gap between what their engineers know and what a first-time buyer sees. Rather than a straightforward product showcase, we built a single custom 3D environment, centered on Solomon's "O" branding element, designed to work across every vehicle in their range, in both commercial and residential settings, so it could keep explaining new stock long after this project shipped.
This is our "Clarity First" approach in practice: before building anything, we map what a non-expert buyer actually needs to see to trust the engineering behind the product.

Built in Cinema 4D with Redshift and After Effects over an 8-week production, the environment uses procedural, cloner-based workflows so new vehicles and scenes can be added efficiently. This wasn't built as a single film, it was built as an asset.

Every technical decision here was made in service of reuse and scale, not just visual polish:
Procedural, not bespoke, environment building; cloner-based workflows in Cinema 4D mean new vehicles or scenes can be added to the world without starting over, keeping future asset costs down for Solomon.
Custom wheel drivers across all five vehicle types, built once and reused, rather than animated by hand per vehicle.
A contour shader in Redshift delivers the blueprint/X-ray effect that makes engineering quality visible at a glance. A deliberate choice to make complexity legible, not decorative.
Cinema 4D's take system renders sequential variations from a single master scene file, so the whole fleet lives in one manageable production pipeline rather than fragmented projects.
