The Challenge

A fantastic Branding & Strategy Design Consultancy in Manchester, we were delighted to be asked to help Studio North with their refresh.

They wanted their new brand phrasing "Breakthrough Branding" to have some movement. They also had 3 pillars they wanted us to explore, which is where the 3 different styles came from. You can view all three below.

The Outcome

We built a series of short brand films that can be used in multiple ways. The first in the sequence, the balloons, signified the creative.

The Craft

Sometimes with a brief the hardest thing is stopping the ideas. This was one of those dreams. Below you can see a little bit of our workings. Some of this is our sketches and tests, some of it is moodboards. Looking at how other animators make these shapes move. As we start to build this picture, we start to sketch out our concepts to share with the client.
